dear mom and dad its been a pretty cool week! So far we had our first spelling and math test. I aced my math test but not sure what the results are yet. We also worked on cinquain poems in class. Speaking about poems I just finished my ABC poem in tech class. I also discovered a program called First In Math and it's really cool! It lets you practice math skills facts. And the cool part about it is that the more problems you get right you earn stickers.So far I have 209 stickers so far. The captains sergents and luitenents have been anouced for safetys. Sadly I was not not one of them but they didn't annouce the gold badge which is the best of them all so I am doing my best to get it. We are having picture day today. I hope the picture comes out good. We started a new unit in math. It's about problem solving, place value, addition and subtraction.
9/30 dear mom and dad survived another week of schoolat SH. In math we worked on different ways of doing multiplacation. Icotinued to play first in math. I continued to earn more stickers and so far I have 244! In writing we worked on different ways to start our personal narratives. I finished my second book and I am one my way to my third one. Today we had RIF NIC with our buddies! My story is about me going on the Hanglider. I also have a up coming math and science test. I already achieved my mad minute goal of 10 mad minitues aced.
10/6 dear mom and dad. This week we had lots of fun at SH. We did another math test today. We also have a up coming spelling test. We also typed our personal narratives today and made the final touches. My personal narrative is 746 words! In library we learned aboutt a kid that invented tv. In science we experimented with home made air planes.
10/14 It's been a awessome week at Salford Hills! Were going to have a school meeting after I finish typing thisand they are going to annoce the gold badge safety and I can't wait to see who it is! We are also going to have ours first science test not counting the I checks. In art we are working on sculpting a face out of paper mache.I'm going to make mine a ninja. In technolgy we are still working on Type To Learn. That teaches us to type the right way which I'm trying to right now. In writing we are working on topics for our imformational essay.In math we are working on angles and measuring them. Gym this week was very fun. We got to pay steal The Bacon. In liabrary we did a activity on inventions. It's where we would roll a die and see what it landed on then that's are invention. Mine was a cyborg who is powerd by light who fights crimeand we also got to draw him pn the back of the paper. Ialmost forgot about the ice cream party!
10/21 This week was awesome! We played a awesome game in gym. In technolgy we still continued Type to Learn. This week was also character counts week. In art class I made my face a ninja . It looks realy cool. In library I learned five cool facts about Alexander Graham Bell. we also got the new person today. Her name is Julia. She is really nice. We also had a spellng test as usual. We are finishing up a science unit that we just started. It's about maps and were the continents are. We also did this same unit in previous years. Thats why I think we only took a week to do a review. Our class also has a math test coming shortly. In writing we are working on descriptive nouns and powerful verbs to put in our writing.

It took a math test this week and I'm preety disapointed because it was definetly not my best score.In art my ninja is turning out great! I can't wait until next art class too finish it. in writing we are working on our second personal narrative. Mine is about when I went over to Coles house and had a nerf war and I finally beat cole for the first time. I almost forgot that today is wacky hair day! There are really wacky hair dues today.
12/9 hey mom and dad! I'ts been a long time since I wikied in a while. So I have alot to say. Recently in art I finished my clay penguin and it looks really cool. In library we discovered a sight that lets you search for books and you get to rate them and recomened the books to one of your friends! It's sort of like a Facebook for kids but with books. I finished a personal narrative that we selfselected and was due in about three days. I also had a new book group with differnet kids. In tech we are going virtual shopping at Best Buy.I got some really cool stuff like a Ipad and a tv. We have a school meeting starting soon. That reminds me about the concert that happened this week. It was awesome. In math were finishing up a unit about fractions and some other stuff. Im reading a book called Lawn Boy. It's about this kid and he gets a lawn mower for his birthday and he makes thousands of dollars. It's a really cool book.
I can't wait until next week to type on my wiki :)
12/16 hey mom and dad this week has been awesome! First we started a new unit in science about mixtures. Im proud to say that I got a 100% on my math test this week. We also finished our show portfolios that you saw already. We also moved desk this week as weel. That reminds me about our craft we did with our buddies. We made bird feeders with pincones. Then we spinkled them with bird food. Then for a treat everybody got candy canes. We also looked over our report cards as a class. In writting we are working on informational peices. Mine is about being a good son. In art we got to glaze our sculptutures. My penguin looks really cool now. In library I got a new friend on the sight that is like Facebook. I also finished Lawn Boy and the ending was really awesome but I don't want to spoil it because maybe you would want to read it to. I'm so close To finishing my technolgy project I only have a couple of dollars to go! In gym we have been training for the skills asesment. In math we have been doing a 100% me poem on the computer. Mine is really awesome. In music we have continued using the song books for the Holidaysand the cool thing about next week in music is that you can preforme for the class which I plan on doing. One of our class mates Allie left to Gerogia this week as well. In this week we also went on first in math and I aced division on Just The Facts which boosted my stickers up by alot. Now I'm in like 65th place In the whole school. Well I better be going now so for now see you till next week!
12/21 Today I'm here to tell you about my week. It's been a exciting week! In art I finished my penguins glazing and he looks awesome. In tech I finished My best buy thing. I have just saw the Christmas Shark online. Mr. Piston showed it to me. We did our first Icheck and I did alright. We got a assembily in a couple of minutes where the whole school plays different songs per grade. We are also going to have our Christmas party today at 2:00 and right now it is 1:03. I also decorated Christmas cards for you in class. I hope you enjoy them! In gym we played a game related to snow. It's where we have six teams and we get snowballs to knock down the snow men(bowling pins.) We worked on our poems
!/6 Hi mom and dad it has been another week here at school. Alot had happen over the week which means I have alot to tell you. First we got a new student yeesterday and her name is Victoria. She is really nice. In math we got our praacttice test which means the actual test is on Wednesdaay. In writting we finished our walk through peice for when Mrs. Smith walked us through a informational peice. So now we need to do one all by ourselves! In reading I finished a book called Day Of the Iguana since I finished that I'm started a new book which is a sequal to Lawn Boy which I read later in December called Lawn Boy Returns. We finished the Icheck for a unit in science. In library I continued to do Destiny Quest. In tech we are doing a 3d effect which is a mueuem of art. In art we are making snow mans that are 3d as well. In gym today we had the pacer test and I am very proud to say that I tied in 4th place out of thhe whole class with 108 laps. We also had A.C.E.S today as well. I am going to log off now so see you till next week!
1/20 Hey mom and dad. I am here with another wiki weekly update on what happened this week. First in tech we are working on 3d muesuem that look really cool. We also had a essembly about what to do when ther is a emergency. In library we are learning how to orginize information of a book. In music we are learning some working songs back then when people worked on the railroad. In gym we did the crunches test and I tied in first with alot of people with 80 crunches. We also played a really awesome and fun game in gym to. Later today we are going to have our hot chocolate writting party later today. In math we did half of our mid year test and we don't know what our score is yet. In writting we are doing a PSSA practice. In reading I am planing to do a conference later today with Zach. 1/27 hey mom and dad. another weekly update. In gym we did our push up test. In music we did nothing. In tech we are doing our muesums and they are almost finished.
We finished are read aloud book where the red fern grows and it was good.I finished my writting PSSA in writting. I also did a DRA and finished that as well. I finished my mid year test in math to. I did really good on it. I conferenced with my reading book called The Case Of The Case Of Mistaken Identity and it was awesome.

2/24 Hey mom and dad. I am back with another wiki update. There hhas been alot going on this week. In gym we did a written assignment to show whhat we know. In writting we tyyped up our persuasive pieces about cats and dogs and I choose dogs. In art we did three dimensional pantings that turned out really cool. In writting we have been working on reading big stories and summarizing in to short essays.
3/2 Hey mom and dad. I'm back with another weekly update. First in math we just finishhed a testthis morning about 3d shapes. Inwritting we did a PSSA for practice. We our learning about different colonies and what the colonies were like. In reading Ifinished a really long book that is 632 pages! In gym we played a game where you try to hit some ones foot with a yarn ball. In art we did clay plates that have really cool stuff on them. In library we are doing non fiction biliograpohies.
3/9 Hey mom and dad. I am back with another wiki weekly update! In art class we did plates made out of clay. In math we finished unit 9 and moving on to unit 7. Unit 7 is with exponnts and parrentehtheses. In writting we did another PSSA practice about what are favorite season is. We also did another PSSA practice for reading and it was about haikus. In reading I'm on the last few pages of this book called THe Million Dollar Shot and planning to do a conference on it later today. Today we also had a school meeting that happeneds monthly. In music we are learning the history of Beethoven. In library we read this book about huskies.

First in tech we have been doing a story that will be read from us and pictures will go on it to.In library we are in the process of taking the end of the year test. In math we started a new unit and also did a test that finished unit 7. I got 4 wrong on it. In writting we are working on a collage of poetry. That i with 3 types of poetry that all formed into one piece of poetry. In social studies we are working on colionial days. I figured out that I am in colional school with alot of people I haved worked with in the past.Today is crazy hat day also. In gym we learned about stuff you need in your body in order to be healthy, like minerals, iron, dairy, fat, and carbohydrates. We have also been working on list poems which is one of the three different types of poetry that is in the collage of poetry.
